- As an Account Executive for Voith’s Digital Solutions, you will accelerate the growth of our digital business by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships across the manufacturing and process industries.
- Your mission is to position Voith’s digital ecosystem – including MillOne, intelligent automation modules, advanced analytics, and connected operations solutions – as a strategic value driver for our customers.
- You will own the full sales cycle, build territory strategies, and act as a trusted advisor helping customers unlock datadriven operational excellence. A strong hunter mindset, structured account planning, and the ability to articulate clear digital value are essential.
- Drive and own new customer acquisition within your territory, with strong focus on hunting and pipeline generation.
- Identify whitespace potential and build a highquality funnel of strategic opportunities.
- Expand existing accounts through targeted upsell and crosssell motions across the Voith digital stack.
- Grow recurring revenue by positioning our scalable SaaS offerings.
- Develop and own territory and account plans, from prospecting to negotiation and close.
- Apply structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDICC / MEDDPICC) to build predictable, highquality pipelines.
- Engage C-level, operational stakeholders, and digital transformation leaders with compelling, valueoriented messaging.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success to secure customer outcomes and accelerate adoption.
- Stay closely aligned with industry trends, customer needs, and competitor dynamics to position Voith’s digital offering with clarity and differentiation.
- Translate complex industrial and operational challenges into concrete digital use cases, value hypotheses, and ROIdriven arguments.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity documentation using CRM processes.
- Ensure transparent qualification, progression, and reporting across the full sales cycle.
Qualifikation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on Sales or Marketing, Business Informatics, Digital Business, or a related field with strong links to technology and industrial environments.
- Proven track record in solution-oriented direct sales of SaaS, industrial software, digital platforms, analytics, or IoT solutions – ideally within complex B2B industries.
- Strong ability to open new markets, identify whitespace opportunities, and independently build and manage a high-quality pipeline of new business prospects.
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles end-to-end – from prospecting and discovery to value definition, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex digital solutions to C-suite executives, technical leaders, and operational stakeholders.
- Understanding of industrial processes, automation technologies, data platforms, advanced analytics, or connected operations. Industry background in pulp & paper, process industries, manufacturing, or energy is a strong plus.
- A team-oriented, analytical, and resourceful professional who effectively collaborates with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success to drive customer outcomes.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
