JOBBEAST. Die Evolution der Jobbörse.
At the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology (Leibniz-HKI), we investigate the pathobiology of microorganisms and develop new natural product-based active compounds for the treatment of infectious diseases.
At MBD, we seek a person with skills in process monitoring and scheduling, pipeline development, and software development. In the recent past, we significantly upgraded our CPU / GPU computer hardware and have exclusive access to multiple high-performance computing servers to analyse big life science data. In parallel, we have to continuously develop and optimize our software solutions towards efficient, high-performance computation to cope with the increasing complexity of big data. On top of that, we reach out to the community whenever possible and encapsulate our services into pipelines and web applications. Together, our hardware, pipelines, and encapsulated software applications require constant monitoring, maintenance, and development.
The IT-support will be hosted in the Department of Microbiome Dynamics (MBD) of Prof. Dr. Gianni Panagiotou of the Leibniz-HKI in an international, dynamic team with access to state-of-the-art computational resources.
Leibniz-HKI is an equal opportunity employer that promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace. It strives to increase the proportion of underrepresented groups with equal qualifications. We value diversity and therefore welcome all applications, regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion / belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity.
