Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) – München

The client is an innovative software manufacturer in München. With customers including upper mid-market companies and international enterprises – many of them from the Forbes Global 2000 environment – operating sophisticated IT landscapes across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

With solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and quality in Application Lifecycle Management – with a focus on SAP-centric customers and integrations around products such as Azure DevOps, Jira, SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Signavio, Tricentis, Worksoft, Avo Automation, and other modern toolchains.

Tasks

• Operation, monitoring, and further development of their Azure-based cloud services

• Building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub)

• Enhancing the cloud architecture: scalability, security, automation

• Collaboration with product development and support on technical issues

• Supporting customers with cloud deployments, access models, and integration scenarios

• Contribution to architectural decisions, security topics, and operational optimization

• Monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement of their platform

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field

• Career starters welcome; initial cloud experience is a plus

• Basic to advanced technical knowledge in:

– Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Services, Functions, Storage, Networking, Identity)

– CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)

– Container technologies (Docker, optionally Kubernetes/AKS)

– Monitoring & logging (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)

– REST, OAuth 2.0, JSON, microservice architectures

• Experience with SAP-related integration scenarios (Jira, Git, ServiceNow, SAP Cloud ALM)

• Basic understanding of IT security, certificates, networking, and automation

• Structured working style, sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn

• Very good German skills (C1+) for internal coordination

• Good English skills (B2–C1) for technical documentation and customer communication
